This course will provide the basic and advanced concepts and skills you need to be productive with Microsoft Access: How to design your own database, creating tables, formulating queries, generating reports, and importing and exporting data. This course maps to the objectives of the Microsoft Office exams for Access. If you intend to take the Microsoft Office Specialist exam for Access, you will need to take both Levels to be fully prepared for the exam.
This course assumes that you are familiar with using personal computers and have used a mouse and keyboard (basic typing skills are recommended). You should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on the computer; and manage files and folders.
